हुलाकी न्यूज, काठमाडौं, १२ भदौ । मधेशमा जारी अनिश्चितकालिन बन्द र आन्दोलनकै बिच शनिबार भने बजारहरु खुल्ला छ । शनिबार परेको रक्षाबन्धनलाई ध्यानमा राख्दै अधिकांश जिल्लाका बजार र पसल खोल्न दिने आन्दोलनरत संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेशी मोर्चाले जनाएको छ ।
जनकपुर, वीरगंज, नेपालगंजलगायतका मुख्य सहरहरुमा रक्षाबन्धनको अवसरमा बजार खुलेका छन् ।
संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेशी मोर्चा, धनुषाले रक्षाबन्धन पर्वको लागि भनेर शुक्रवार दिउँसो ३ बजेदेखि शनिवार सम्मका लागि बजार खुल्ला गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ । जनकपुर उद्योग वाणिज्य संघको विशेष आग्रहमा मोर्चाले शुक्रबार तीन बजेदेखि शनिवार दिनभरिका लागि बजार खोल्ने निर्णय गरेको हो ।
सदभावना पार्टीका जिल्ला अध्यक्ष संजय कुमार सिंहले बजार खुलेपनि सवारी सधानहरु बन्द रहने बताए । उनले शनिवार राजमार्ग केन्द्रित आन्दोलन हुने बताएका छन् । बजार बन्द वाहेक विरोधका अन्य कार्यक्रमहरु भने यथावत रहने सिंहले जनाए । मोर्चाको घटक दलका सबै अध्यक्षहरुसँग जनकपुर उद्योग वाणिज्य संघका अध्यक्ष शिवशंकर साहसहितका व्यवसायिहरुको शुक्रवार विहान बसेको बैठकले रक्षाबन्धन पर्वको विशेष अवसरमा बजार खोल्ने निर्णय गरेको छ ।
हुलाकी न्यूज, जनकपुरधाम, १२ भदौ । शनिबार, भाद्र १२ गते मधेशका जिल्लाहरुमा रक्षाबन्धन अर्थात राखी हर्षोल्लासका साथ मनाइँदैछ । प्रत्येक वर्ष श्रावण शुक्ल पूर्णिमाको दिन मनाइने यो पर्व भाईबहिनीबिचको पवित्र प्रेम दर्शाउने सामाजिक र सांस्कृतिक उत्सव हो । नेपालको मधेशी भूभागमा र छिमेकी मुलुक भारतमा विशेष महत्वका साथ रक्षाबन्धन मनाइन्छ ।
रक्षाबन्धनका दिन दिदीबहिनीले आफ्नो दाजुभाईको हातमा रक्षाको डोर “राखी” बाँधिदिने चलन छ । राखी बाँध्दै दिदीबहिनीले दाजुभाईसँग आफ्नो रक्षाको वचन लिन्छन् भन्ने कथन छ । यसका साथै राखीको डोरले दाजुभाईको रक्षा गर्ने विश्वास पनि रहिआएको छ । रक्षाबन्धनको दिन टाढा रहेका दाजुभाई पनि आफ्ना दिदीबहिनीकोमा राखी बन्हाउन पुग्छन् ।
बिहानै उठेर नुहाई धुवाई गरी, शुभ साईतमा दाजुभाईको कलाईमा राखी बाँधिदिने चलन छ । राखी बाँधेपछि एकअर्कालाई मिठाई खुवाउने र दाजुभाईले दिदीबहिनीलाई उपहार वा पैसा दिने चलन छ । त्यस्तै दिदीबहिनीले आफ्ना दाजुभाईलाई आशिष पनि दिनेगर्छन ।
पहिले पहिले राखीको रुपमा काँचो धागो मात्र बाँध्ने चलन रहिआएपनि अहिले बजारमा निकै आकर्षक राखीहरु पाइन्छन् । दिदीबहिनीले छानी छानी आफूलाई मन परेको राखी दाजुभाईका लागि किन्छन् ।
पहाडी समुदायमा भने यस दिनलाई जनैपूर्णिमाको रुपमा मनाउने परम्परा छ ।
Subject: Death of Raju Raut in unjustified police firing towards unarmed civilians
This is brought to our notice that the people-police clash is escalating in last 2 weeks in Nepal, especially in southern part of the country. While discussion on new constitution is going on, Nepal Government has published the first draft of the constitution and is discussing the proposed rules. People are coming out on the streets to express their voice, especially the historically marginalized groups; Madhesi, Women, Indigenous tribes and Dalit.
Marginalized group see street peaceful protest as effective means to make their voice heard, while Government perceive this as law and order issue. Government needs to realize that, this is a complex situation, and accountability lies with the Government in case of police is involved in violence as marginalized group claim government body to be dominated by upper class privileged ethnic group mostly consisting of Bahun-Chettri.
On the 18th of August, the security forces went on rampage and started indiscriminate firing on protesting Madheshis in Bhardah, Saptari. This police firing left Mr. Raju Raut, resident of Bhardah-1, Saptari, dead and a dozen severely injured. Mr. Raju Raut was shot on his chest and he died at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health & Sciences, Dharan. Also, police used abusive language and ethnic slurs while speaking with the locals during the protest. Post incident, it has also been observed Nepal Government has censored website of Hulaki news agency who was closely monitoring Bhardah incidence.
The police excessive act and media censorship is against the Universal Human Rights.
Nepal has overserved severe Human Right violation committed by state security forces on civilians in the past. The situation is serious in last two weeks in places like Bhardaha (Saptari), Bhairhawa, Surkhet, Nepalgunj and so on. MADHUR strongly condemns the barbarous police shooting on unarmed protesting civilians in Bhardaha, Saptari, Nepal. MADHUR offers its sincere condolences to the victim’s family and demands judicial inquiry with compensation to the family and action towards the culprit security officials.
